A bit about us

Jamie and Matt's life paths could have crossed many times before meeting in November 2012. Matt played tennis for University of Alabama and Jamie rode on the equestrian team at University of Georgia before transferring to Pepperdine. Jamie graduated from Pepperdine in the spring of 2009, the same year Matt moved to Malibu to start Graduate school at Pepperdine that fall.

Matt met Jamie and her beloved late dog, Kylie, while Matt was finishing graduate school at Pepperdine. their friendship consisted of taking walks with Kylie on the beach, campfires by the ocean with friends, heated debates on the Georgia/Alabama football teams and then eventually Matt started to visit Jamie while she was traveling the west coast and Europe as an equestrian jumper on the US Nations Cup Team.

Early on, Matt really struggled to keep up with Jamie on the mountain, whether it was skiing with the barges or friends in Jackson Hole, Tahoe and Mammoth or in Colorado but he is closing the gap (or at least Matt thinks so).

When Jamie and Matt are not traveling for work, they enjoy traveling, spending time at the beach and surfing.

In September 2023, they drove to the wine region of Temecula, California to add a member to their family - an Australian Shepherd puppy they named "Ryder" who is beyond spoiled and adds great happiness to their lives, even when he is covered in sand and shakes it off all over the house.

Jamie and Matt took a trip to Portugal to celebrate Matt's 40th birthday. It's difficult to surprise Jamie, but she was surprised when Matt proposed on the ocean-side cliffs at Cape St. Vincent. After 11 years together, Jamie and Matt are excited to celebrate with you on September 21, 2024.
